Our spring and fall tournaments bring together the top bass anglers from across the country to compete on the legendary waters of Lake Michigan's Sturgeon Bay in Door County, Wisconsin — some of the finest smallmouth bass fishing in the world.

Spring Tournament
The 36th annual spring tournament is held May 14–16 out of Sawyer Park in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Limited to 200 two-person boats, this three-day event features a Kids Day event, a mandatory participant meeting, two competitive flights and the award presentation on Saturday.
Anglers can register for the tournament up until 4pm on Thursday, May 14th.
Fall Tournament
The SBOBT annual fall open tournament at Sawyer Park is one day of intense smallmouth bass competition with great prizes and awards!

Sturgeon Bay sits at the heart of Door County — a peninsula surrounded by the waters of Lake Michigan and Green Bay. Known for its lighthouses, cherry orchards and world-class fishing. It's the perfect backdrop for the SBOBT.
